BURGER KING RECALLS ALL POKÉBALLS ---------- by: Tim W. AKA Abra240 compufreak3000@fcmail.com ---------- In the Miami, Florida based company. Burger King is recalling all of the 2 3/4" x 3" Pokéballs. It has been reported that a 13-month old child suffocated on one after attaching half of the toy to her mouth. There was a similar incident where an 18-month old child had one attached breifly to her mouth (but was removed by her father). "If you have children under 3 in the household, we urge parents to discard or destroy the balls," Burger King spokeswoman Kimberly Miller said. "If the balls are returned to a Burger King restaurant, customers will receive a small order of french fries," she said. Miller also added that public recall notes will be posted at all 8,000 US locations. The promotion will go throw 1.2.00. Big Kids Meals will still contain toy and ball, where the original Kids Club meals will only have toys, balls removed by employees. The Pokéballs were tested by independant laboratories, and met or exceeded federal standards. ---------- --Tim W. AKA Abra240
